Greek gyros with Poli
Ingredients
- 1 small flatbread bun
- 3 tbsp tzatziki sauce
- 300g Poli
- 100g French fries
- Kalamata olives
- green leaf lettuce
- oil and butter
Greek gyros with Poli
Preparation process
- Slice the bun in half with a knife, but not all the way through. Spread tzatziki sauce on the lower slice of the bun.
- Cook the French fries in oil. Cut the Poli into thin slices and fry in oil or butter.
- Top the bun generously with the fried Poli. Add the cooked fries, the olives and a lettuce leaf.
TZATZIKI SAUCE
You can also make your own tzatziki by mixing 100g of sour cream, 3 tablespoons of yoghurt, half a grated cucumber, some chopped spring onion and the juice of half a lemon. Add salt, pepper and fresh chopped mint leaves to taste.
