Greek gyros with Poli

Ingredients

  • 1 small flatbread bun
  • 3 tbsp tzatziki sauce
  • 300g Poli
  • 100g French fries
  • Kalamata olives
  • green leaf lettuce
  • oil and butter

Greek gyros with Poli

Preparation process

  1. Slice the bun in half with a knife, but not all the way through. Spread tzatziki sauce on the lower slice of the bun.
  2. Cook the French fries in oil. Cut the Poli into thin slices and fry in oil or butter.
  3. Top the bun generously with the fried Poli. Add the cooked fries, the olives and a lettuce leaf.

 

TZATZIKI SAUCE

You can also make your own tzatziki by mixing 100g of sour cream, 3 tablespoons of yoghurt, half a grated cucumber, some chopped spring onion and the juice of half a lemon. Add salt, pepper and fresh chopped mint leaves to taste.
